In case you missed it, Xbox held its Developer Direct presentation on Thursday, giving us our first "big" showcase of the year. Over the 50-minute-long stream, we got our first real look at Fable, plus deeper looks at Forza Horizon 6, Beast of Reincarnation and that rumored mysterious fourth game, which turned out to be Kiln from Double Fine.
Speaking of Forza, it was finally confirmed that, while the game will not launch alongside the Xbox and PC versions on May 19, it will come to PlayStation 5 "later this year."
That's a pretty significant bit of news, especially considering that when Forza Horizon 6 was revealed back at Xbox's Tokyo Game Show presentation, it was announced that a PS5 version wouldn't be day-and-date, but rather an ominous "post-launch" release.
I have no clue about anyone else, but I'm still making my way through Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, so not having it on May 19 isn't the biggest deal in the world. It gives me enough time to finish checking things off the map.
