A reliable Ubisoft insider has claimed that the Rayman remake is going to "disappoint everyone", since it's apparently a remake of Rayman Legends.
Earlier this week, Ubisoft broke the hearts of every Prince of Persia fan out there by suddenly cancelling the long-awaited Sands of Time remake, alongside multiple other unknown games. Considering how Rayman has fared in the past, a lot of fans have been worried about what might happen to the Rayman games that are currently in development.
So far, it seems like Rayman is safe from Ubisoft's restructuring, but there might be some confusing news for fans in the works. While sharing a report on the games that are still in the works at Ubisoft, a reliable insider shared some information on the rumoured Rayman remake, which isn't what any of us expected or wanted.
Over on Twitter, reliable Ubisoft insider xj0nathan (who has previously shared scoops about Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed) replied to a post sharing information from Tom Henderson about Ubisoft's pipeline. In the post, xj0nathan mentions "the next Rayman", before saying that it's "not all that new" and is going to "disappoint everyone".
