The Sims, The Sims 2, And All Of Their Expansions Just Dropped On Game Pass

The Sims turned 25 last year and celebrated by finally making the first two games in the series available on multiple PC storefronts. Almost exactly one year later, it has extended those celebrations by shadow dropping those very same games on Xbox Game Pass.

There hasn't been an announcement from EA nor Xbox, but if you have Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, both The Sims, The Sims 2, and all of the DLC that was released for them in the years that followed - and there was a lot of it - are ready and waiting for you right now. There is a catch, though, and the catch is that, for now at least, no matter which tier of Game Pass you're subscribed to, these games and their expansions are still PC-only.

With an expensive backlog of DLC that it struggles to run on modern hardware, The Sims 3 deserves revisiting.

Disappointing that the games aren't also available on Xbox, but unsurprising for those who are familiar with The Sims' timeline.
