As if Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero didn't already have enough content, characters, modes or costumes, the title is going all out with another DLC update that is set to launch sometime this summer.
In a new trailer showcased during Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, the live stream event celebrating all things Dragon Ball, including word of a new anime and an original game coming in 2027, it was revealed that the heavily-fan-requested characters that were missing are now making their way to the game, including Super Saiyan Bardock, Super 17 and Demon King Piccolo.
Before the night's festivities kicked off, the results of the first-ever worldwide character poll were released. To absolutely no surprise, Goku was voted No. 1.
The announcements for Sparkign! Zero didn't stop there, either, as not only are new characters coming to the game, but so are new costumes, including Gohan in Goku's signature orange gi. New attacks and a new mode were also promised during the near-two-minute-long trailer.
"Now, to go even further beyond."
It's a "massive DLC that will allow you to enjoy even more heated battles of Dragon Ball," Jun Furutani, producer of Sparking! Zero, said on stage.
