Next Month's PlayStation Plus Free Game Might Be As Disappointing As January's

Last month, when PlayStation revealed that the trio of Core Keeper, Disney's Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and Need for Speed Unbound would be the "free" titles coming to PlayStation Plus Essential members, there were more than a few audible groans.

Personally, I thought the January lineup was solid. NFS Unbound is criminally underrated and Epic Mickey is a delight. Also, lest we forget that January 2025 had — checks notes — Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as the headliner.

Now that we're at the end of January, rumors and leaks about what to expect in February are beginning to percolate, and if this recent leak from Dealabs' billbil-kun is to be believed, then those groans are only going to grow louder.

That's because, according to the reliable database maestro, one of February's PS Plus Essential titles will be Undisputed, a 2024 title from Steel City Interactive that is the first major licensed boxing game in over a decade.
