For fans of the Dragon Ball franchise, last night was nothing short of a dream come true. To recap, Dragon Ball Super is coming back with an adaptation of the Moro arc, but before that, it'll get a re-adaptation of the Battle of the Gods arc, now renamed the Beerus arc.
Then, a new Dragon Ball game was announced, Age1000, a title that was developed in close partnership with the late Akira Toriyama. If all that wasn't enough, Sparking! Zero is getting one more massive DLC release, featuring pretty much every character that had been missing, including Super Saiyan Bardock and Super 17.
That last announcement has fans dissecting every second of the near-two-minute-long trailer, and they've come to the conclusion that the "New Mode" being teased at the 1:27 mark isn't exactly new, at least not to seasoned Budokai Tenkaichi fans.
Specifically, multiple fans believe that what was shown is a new take on the popular Dragon Adventure mode that was present in Budokai Tenkaichi 2. There's no denying that the evidence is strong, especially the fact that the map looks eerily similar to what was in BT2.
