Reliable Insider Is Expecting A Lot Of Third-Party Ports To Hit Switch 2 This Year, Including Clair Obscur

Other than the first-party games you can't play anywhere else, one of the biggest selling points of the Switch 2 was meant to be that Nintendo would finally have a console powerful enough for third-party studios to put their latest games on. Those games haven't arrived at quite the pace early Switch 2 adopters might have expected, but that pace will almost certainly pick up this year with big games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 expected on the platform.

Sandfall Interactive has previously confirmed that it's exploring the possibility of putting Expedition 33 on Switch 2. Turns out it might be figuring out how to navigate those waters pretty quickly. During a 2026 predictions podcast, typically reliable insider Nate the Hate went to Clair Obscur first when listing third-party games he expects to see on Switch 2 before the end of the year.
