Ubisoft is trying to shut down a huge leak that saw a private presentation on the now-cancelled Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake shared online. This presentation was more than an hour long and showed developers discussing details about the game, including some changes from the original.
The footage in question came from a screen recording of the presentation, seemingly taken by one of the attendees, who appears to be part of a focus group. The footage was unedited, meaning it showed the faces of the developers and attendees, and even a warning from devs that attendees are not to share anything they learned from the presentation with the public.
We saw the video before it was taken down, and it revealed a few details that we were not previously privy to. For starters, it confirmed that the rumours were true, and the Prince was no longer played by Yuri Lowenthal (or his original actor, Nolan North). It also confirmed that Farah would be played by Eman Ayaz, who previously spoke out about her experience with having one of her projects cancelled, although she could not mention Prince of Persia by name.
