Ken Levine's legacy is a little bit in limbo. After being so prolific for so long, starting in 1999 with System Shock 2 and running through to 2013 with BioShock Infinite, it's now been 13 years since his last game was released. After taking the decision to shutter his studio, Irrational Games, in 2014, Levine confirmed he'd rebranded it as Ghost Story Games in 2017, and five years later, its first game, Judas, was revealed at The Game Awards.
Limited updates have come from the game since then, with only one further trailer and a handful of interviews, but it seems like we might see more moving forward, with Levine saying the game is now in a "good place".
Answering a handful of questions from Game Informer, Levine provided an update on the game's progress. "What sets it apart from other games is the way we’re building it (and the reason we spent five years in just R&D)," he said. "We wanted the characters to not only respond to major choices, but to also recognize and respond to your sequence of actions, down to the smallest details."
