For the past 12 hours, one of 2025's biggest hits, Arc Raiders, has been facing server issues. Players have reported issues with the game, specifically major lag and progress being lost, and the developer has provided updates on Discord throughout the morning.
At 2:20 am BST, Embark Studios said it had received reports of server instability. At 3:24, it said that servers were "beginning to recover". Three hours later, the instability resurfaced, and an hour after that, they stabilized again.
While the issues are still ongoing, Embark confirmed that they are part of "extensive, coordinated DDoS attacks" and is working hard to find a solution.
"Hey Raiders, both ARC Raiders and THE FINALS have been under extensive, coordinated DDoS attacks," a communication from Embark Studios began in the Arc Raiders official Discord server. "The strike team has been working hard on mitigations and solutions to fix the problem, and we are making good progress - but at this point in time, the attacks are still ongoing."
