For some, the wait for GTA 6 has been an excruciating one. So excruciating that, in some cases, they've gone to extreme lengths just to see something from the game that hasn't been officially revealed. Those desperate methods include flying drones outside Rockstar's windows, and even posing as staff to try and get inside for a closer look.
Discussions regarding some of the ways GTA fans have tried to get an early look at the next game have been sparked by reports that Rockstar might not release a physical version of GTA 6 at launch. There's a belief that the studio fears leaks so much, GTA 6 will be a digital-only release if it hits its November 19, 2026, release date, and then the physical launch will come later, maybe even not until 2027.
