Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is coming this year, after a decade-long wait for a sequel. Given the long wait and the entire console generation it skipped, many are hoping for a bunch of new features for this grand return.
To showcase some of these, Nintendo held a Direct just for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Here is everything new we've learned about the upcoming life sim ahead of its release this year.
In character creation - which is greatly expanded - you don't have to create a Mii from scratch anymore (or rely on a picture of someone, which was always a bit dodgy).
Instead, you can answer questions about their appearance and get a Mii that way.
FINALLY - our Miis can be gay as hell. As well as selecting which gender our Mii is into romantically, they can also be non-binary.
You choose all of these in the character creator. As well as being far more inclusive, it means we can influence who our Miis hook up with, rather than it being more random like in the original.
