This Cult Classic Nintendo Franchise is Finally Back on April 16th

Tomodachi Life is a cult classic Nintendo DS game that took the world by storm.

Its gameplay is somewhat similar to Animal Crossing, primarily being a life simulator, but instead of a villager in a town with animal neighbors, it's all about Miis. You remember those, right? Because of this, many have viewed Tomodachi Life as less of an Animal Crossing clone and more of Nintendo's version of The Sims.

With the amount of tinkering you can do with every Mii, including watching some fall in love and interact with each other, it resulted in several popular memes back in the day. As a result, many have been desperately hoping for a new entry in the Tomodachi Life franchise.

After its long-awaited reveal during a recent Nintendo Direct, we finally have a release date. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream launches for Nintendo Switch on April 16th. It will also be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
