Phasmophobia Roadmap for 2026 Highlights 1.0 Launch, New Maps, and More | TechRaptor

Developer and publisher Kinetic Games has revealed the 2026 roadmap for Phasmophobia, and it looks forward to major events like the game's 1.0 release, its Switch 2 launch, and more.

Per a press release, major updates coming to Phasmophobia throughout 2026 include a character overhaul, an update for the game's Unity engine, and a release for Nintendo's Switch 2, as well as the full 1.0 release, which will be accompanied by a "horror rework and lore update".

When it comes to maps, you can look forward to reworks for the Tanglewood and Willow locations, as well as a brand new map that Kinetic is still keeping close to its chest for now.

Of course, Phasmophobia also has plenty of events planned throughout 2026, including a brand new one-time event and the return of old favorites like Cursed Hollow, Crimson Eye, and Winter's Jest.

Phasmophobia director Daniel Knight says he's hoping that the 1.0 release of Phasmophobia, which still doesn't have a date attached to it, will "feel as fresh and exciting as when the game first launched back in 2020". We can but hope.
