Developer and publisher Rocketwerkz has announced a release date for planetary survival game Icarus on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and you won't have to wait much longer to try the game outside of its PC home.
Icarus is officially arriving on consoles on February 26th, with console publishing duties being handled by Grip Studios, a support outfit that's worked on the likes of Mafia: The Old Country and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, among other games.
The console version of Icarus will include not only the base game, but also its New Frontiers expansion, which brings a massive extra region to explore, plus lots of new enemies, workshop items, and more.
What's more, if you pre-order Icarus on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, you'll get access to the Pet Companions Pack DLC, which, as the name suggests, adds a number of adorable animals to pet and look after.
News of Icarus' console release date comes just a couple of weeks after Rocketwerkz and founder Dean Hall announced that the game had managed to rack up almost a million sales for itself during the most recent winter Steam Sale.
