The First Descendant’s Drop Rates Are Fine Actually, Insists Nexon

Of The First Descendant's many post-launch issues, the one that has been bugging players most relates to what they consider "unfair" drop rates.

Players are jumping into games, doing minimal work and reaping the rewards.

The issue has been touched upon by dozens of The First Descendant players across websites like Twitter and Reddit; however, a new post from Korean developers Nexon has supposedly dispelled that myth, telling players that, actually, the drop rates are fine.

Since the game launched, The First Descendant players have taken to social media in their droves.

These players have, almost in unison, complained that the drop rates seem suspiciously far away from those advertised in the game. Reports from the community stated that some items with a 20% drop rate took over five hours to farm, with others sharing they had to complete a certain mission upwards of 30 times to get said item.

Given Nexon's history of fudging drop rates, which resulted in the company receiving a $9 million fine, some suspicions were probably warranted.
