Bloober Team Has Shut Down Theories That It's Working On A Rule Of Rose Remake

Over the past few days, Silent Hill 2 developer Bloober Team has been teasing its fans with a mysterious website that has a countdown ticking up until Valentine's Day. After a bit of sleuthing and discovering that the writing on the website was from a poem, theories came about that this was a Rule of Rose remake tease from Bloober Team.

It's a game that has a bit of a reputation, mostly due to its dark themes, but also because it's a highly sought-after PS2 title. It would be right up Bloober Team's alley to give Rule of Rose the remake treatment, given how well it did with Silent Hill 2 and its ongoing original Silent Hill remake project, but the studio has unfortunately shot down all the Rule of Rose hype.

First spotted by FRVR, it was Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno that rained on the parade of Rule of Rose fans in a new post on his LinkedIn page. In the post, Babieno says that a remake of Rule of Rose was a "good guess", but it's ultimately a wrong one.
