Every time fans think Bethesda is working on Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters, they get the rug pulled from under them. Whether it's mysterious countdowns, Steam glitches, or promotional ads for the Amazon show, fans think it's some sort of teaser for an eventual remaster. Unfortunately, they've been wrong every time.
Weirdly, many of these theories seem to line up. Maybe Todd Howard and gang are messing with us, or maybe it's all just a giant coincidence. Speaking of coincidences, Virtuos, the studio that worked on The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, just revealed that it did some environment art work on Amazon's show. You know where this is going.
Now that the season two finale for Fallout is out, Virtuos revealed that it did some work on the show. "Our team worked on environment art, creating photorealistic landscapes that viewers will encounter throughout the season," said a Tweet by the studio. "Big thanks to Magnopus for the fantastic collab as always. We look forward to more projects together in future!"
Kudos to the studio for its work. The Wasteland looks absolutely stunning in the show. But, instead of praise and congratulations, the comments section was filled with people...
