MindsEye is getting a big update today, and Build a Rocket Boy is billing it as a comeback.
Update 7 drops today, bringing with it a bunch of fixes and new content. Developer Build A Rocket Boy says that the changes reflect the player feedback it received after MindsEye's disastrous launch last summer, which saw the game panned by both players and critics alike.
"Update 7 is a big step forward for MindsEye, and our studio," says Mark Gerhard, CEO of Build of a Rocket Boy. "I want to thank everyone who’s been playing and sharing feedback, and our dedicated team who have worked incredibly hard to continue to delight our community. We’ve listened, we’ve moved quickly, and we’re continuing to refine performance, make continuous improvements, and deliver substantial combat and gameplay enhancements."
However, it is impossible to talk about MindsEye without also mentioning the situation surrounding the ill-fated sci-fi action-adventure.
