Stardew Valley turns ten later this month. Can you believe it? A decade of continued support from creator ConcernedApe, spoiling fans to such a point that people are really pestering the heck out of him over how long it's taking for follow-up project Haunted Chocolatier to come out.
The hotly-anticipated Update 1.7 is still to come, and while we don't yet know when it hits, it might not be too long after the 50-million-seller's February 26 anniversary. Either way, it's a fine day to roll out news on something massive: the first new romance options since version 1.1. (Even if February 14 might've been an even savvier play.)
First, credit where credit's due. We wouldn't know more marriage paths are coming without the firsthand reporting of a tiny little games journalism site called IGN. The excellent Rebekah Valentine queried ConcernedApe on what to expect from Update 1.7, and got quite the bombshell:
