Earlier this week, TheGamer reported that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 port was on the way, with a release date scheduled at some point this Summer. All we had to wait for was an opportunity for either Nintendo or Square Enix to reveal the news, and today's Nintendo Partner Direct was a perfect opportunity to do so.
Turns out, that's exactly what the duo have done. Confirming our report, it has been announced that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be launching on June 3 later this summer.
As is usually the case with these Nintendo Partner Direct, there were more than a few exciting reveals and announcements besides Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's Switch 2 port. For example, a sequel to Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo was announced, and will release in just two weeks from now.
