Developer and publisher Mechanistry has revealed the Timberborn 1.0 release date, with the beaver colony sim exiting Early Access in just a few short weeks.
As revealed in a news post on Steam (and an accompanying trailer), Timberborn will get a full release on PC on March 5th, having been in Early Access for well over four years.
The folks behind the game also revealed a brand new trailer that will serve as Timberborn's intro when firing up the 1.0 version, and it unveils a little bit more about the lore behind the city-builder, complete with narration from legendary English actor Shaun Dooley, who also played Yura and Shabriri in Elden Ring.
As noted by Mechanistry in the aforementioned post, Timberborn has come a long way since launching in Early Access back in 2021, having received a number of major updates adding new features like distinct factions, 3D physics, and new maps, plus lots more.
If you're not familiar with Timberborn, it's a colony-building sim that takes place on an Earth ravaged by the worst excesses of mankind. Humans have disappeared, but it's okay; beavers are here to pick up the slack.
You'll guide your colony...
