It looks like players will have to wait just a little bit longer to dive back into the aesthetic of classic 1930s cartoons. Developer Fumi Games announced this Tuesday, February 24, that Mouse: P.I. For Hire, the highly anticipated noir shooter, has officially been delayed.
The game is now scheduled to launch on April 16, 2026. This move represents a roughly one-month pushback, as the title was originally slated to arrive in mid-March.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Fumi Games explained that the decision to delay Mouse: P.I. For Hire was made to ensure the team has enough time to polish the experience and deliver on their promises to the community.
“As we approach the final stages of development, we want to ensure we are taking the extra time and care needed to make MOUSE: P.I.
