It seems just a few months ago, we were talking about how Marvel Rivals was everyone's favourite hero shooter, while Overwatch was in the mud. Some new heroes and a rebranding has done wonders for Blizzard's game, which is now leaving NetEase's shooter in the dust. The tables have turned now, and Marvel Rivals players have had enough.
One of the many problems that the community has with the game is griefers and throwers. The game's implementation of Engagement-Oriented Matchmaking [EOMM] over banning or suspending players has resulted in fans creating a website that does it for them. Intlist is a website where you can place bounties on griefers and throwers (thanks, Kotaku).
The site has been created by a player called EchoRivals. "Post a bounty on any griefer. Players queue into their games, throw, submit proof, and collect the cash," says the website. The site's social media posts say that it exists only due to the failure of the Marvel Rivals devs. "Remove EOMM and actually ban throwers? We'll gladly shut down."
