B.J. Blazkowicz and the Wolfenstein series have been pretty quiet for the past few years. MachineGames found success with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but the studio has revealed that it will be going back to make Wolfenstein 3. Sources also claim that development is already underway.
While no other details have officially been revealed, it seems some story details were revealed thanks to a casting call. According to MP1st, the project's current codename is 'Valkyrie', with Performance Director Tom Keegan and Casting Director Emily Schweber attached to it. The casting call itself is for a character named Sofiya, but that will probably change in the final game.
Sofiya is described as an orphan around the ages of 8–11 from Ukraine. She has a dog called Ralph, and both of them form a bond with Blazkowicz and his crew, traveling with them throughout the game. This also confirms that Blazkowicz will indeed be returning to the series. There's also a short description of Sofiya in the casting call.
