Give Grace An Early Damage Buff In Resident Evil Requiem By Killing The Kitchen Zombie

Resident Evil Requiem launches today, and some of you are probably already playing it. By now, you must have realised that Grace and Leon have very different playstyles: Grace focused on stealth and puzzles and Leon being a zombie killer who performs unnecessary backflips. This means the former is a bit squishier than the Raccoon City veteran.

Grace neither does as much damage as Leon, nor can she take as much. Thankfully, there's a way to boost her damage output pretty early on in the game. As spotted by PC Gamer's Sean Martin, killing a relatively tough enemy early on in Requiem lets Grace unlock a permanent damage buff. And it really comes in handy.

After the encounter with The Girl at Rhodes Hill Care Center, you'll find yourself in the West Wing of the facility, near the kitchen. There's a massive zombie wielding a cleaver here, who you'd ideally want to avoid. However, it holds the key to the Pantry, which houses some great loot, including a Stakeout Takeout Charm that boosts knife durability and damage.
