After Unc Slop And AI Slop, Marathon Players Are Accusing The Game Of Having Fontslop

Life moves like the speed of light, and there's no truer place for that than video games. One minute you're watching a reveal trailer and the next a game is on the verge of releasing. Such is the case with Marathon, which went from being delayed indefinitely to now having a Server Slam weekend ahead of its official release on March 5.

Right now, thousands are jumping into Bungie's latest venture, and for the most part, the early results seem positive. That said, if there's one element that could use a refresh before release, it's the UI.

I'm having a good time with Marathon, but something about the game feels off.

Because, as it stands, it's not very popular, leading to one content creator coining the term "Fontslop."

While super creative, it is a bit busy, featuring several different sizes, colors and even fonts themselves.
