CD Projekt Red will appear at Unreal Fest in June later this year with a new Witcher 4 showcase, giving us a further glimpse into this hotly-anticipated sequel.
The Witcher 4 was first announced two years ago at The Game Awards with a CGI trailer featuring an older Ciri as the new series protagonist. Since then, we've seen very little of the game, and what we have been shown thus far has been lifted from curated tech demos that are not representative of the final build.
As DSO Gaming reports, that's unlikely to change anytime soon. CD Projekt Red announced its appearance at Unreal Fest on the latest episode of its podcast, and the team didn't divulge whether the footage shown would be in-game or sourced from a tech demo, but given the event's nature, the latter seems more likely.
Unreal Fest is about "bringing together creators and developers from across different industries to share ideas, supercharge projects, and grow their networks," so it's unlikely that CDPR will use this as a platform to showcase gameplay.
The Witcher 4's tech demo represents CDPR's current approach, but the final game could look very different.
Another tech demo highlighting...
