If you managed to forget that Doom: The Dark Ages was released last year, you'd mostly be forgiven. As solid as the game was, it didn't exactly set the world on fire, barely crossing 31,000 concurrent players on Steam, per SteamDB, with some pretty lacking sales on PlayStation, too.

That said, comebacks aren't unheard of in the gaming sphere, and Doom: The Dark Ages seems primed for as big of a comeback as you can imagine, with its upcoming DLC expansion.

If that wasn't enough, then take it from game director Hugo Martin, who, in a recent stream, hyped up the DLC as being "massive."

As first spotted by GamesRadar, in a new Slayers Club livestream, Martin let some info out of the bag when it comes to the upcoming expansion, and Doom fans should be amped to hear his words.
