Resident Evil Requiem has a mysterious challenge called 'The Final Puzzle' that's worth 20,000 completion points, but nobody has been able to solve it yet, and it's not for a lack of trying. In fact, the community has pooled together its knowledge into a dedicated subreddit that has one goal: getting to the bottom of this bizarre rabbit hole.

The first step becomes clear when you escape the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center's basement. Grace narrowly escapes the clutches of the Girl as the elevator crashes down and severs its hand, which you can pick up after the cutscene ends. It's not immediately clear what the hand is used for, but when you leave the clinic for water treatment, you'll notice that it can be discarded, so it must be used in the first half of the game.

As broken down in an extensive thread by u/Naeloah on r/TheFinalPuzzle, it was found that the hand can be analyzed with a laser microscope to uncover a hidden message: "Let's play," followed by the sequence 'GGC AAG AUA ACG UGU CAU.' It was then theorized that each letter might correspond to the Sun, Moon, and Star symbols...
