Minor spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem follow.
A couple of eagle-eyed Resident Evil Requiem players have made a startling discovery — the zombie-kicking, quip-making hot uncle, Leon S. Kennedy, is a taken man.
In a couple of Resident Evil Requiem's cutscenes, a wedding ring is clearly visible on Leon's finger. This was almost certainly a conscious decision by Capcom to further illustrate Leon's growth — he's settled down, he has a family to think about.
At no point in Requiem do we find out who Leon married, though that hasn't stopped fans from speculating on who Leon's potential partner is. In all likelihood, it's a civilian character we've never met before, but... what if it was Albert Wesker—accomplished virologist and noted bioterrorist? Alas, those stories are confined to the various fanfiction sites dotting the internet.
The popular theories are, of course, the women that Kennedy has interacted with throughout the series. Leon and Ada Wong have collaborated on many a caper, and they even kissed once during a dramatic moment in Resident Evil 2. However, Wong has routinely kept Leon in the dark about her true motivations and has put him in life-threatening danger on more than one occasion....
