Pokemon fans have been returning to FireRed & LeafGreen now that the remakes of the original games are finally available on Nintendo Switch. However, it has taken just a matter of days for some of those fans to discover that if you press all four of the Switch's face buttons at the same time while playing the Pokemon ports, you get taken back to the title screen.
That's right, if you press the A, B, X, and Y buttons all at the same time while playing FireRed or LeafGreen, the game will be reset. No warning, no pop-up asking if you're sure - it just happens. Streamer SavananaBananaz learned that the hard way, revealing on Sunday that she lost 90 minutes of progress due to button mashing while grinding.
She happened to be streaming at the time, too, which meant she captured the heartbreaking moment live on camera. Sharing the footage, the streamer urged others not be like her and to save your game regularly, particularly if you have a habit of mindlessly tapping away at the buttons.
