If you're a fan of football, chances are you're not a fan of VAR. Not only does it break up play and slow things down, taking the enjoyment out of the sport, but I think it's fair to say the standards of refereeing may have dropped since its introduction, with those behind the technology routinely getting things wrong. It's not helpful, and nobody really likes it.
However, if you've ever seen a dodgy VAR decision go against your team and think to yourself, "I could do a better job than those bozos up in the booth", I have the perfect game for you.
It's called Eyes of the Match, and it's been doing the rounds across sports Twitter recently, thanks to its rather unique premise of allowing you to be a VAR official for several matches. You'll be given a number of incidents that take place in football matches, and it's your job as the VAR official to look over the incident in a timely manner and intervene if you need to. You know, kind of like how VAR should function.
