Helldivers 2 launched over two years ago, and we've seen a lot since then. A floating weapon in space, a third faction, vehicles, a portable Hellbomb, and tons of new ways to kill the enemies of Super Earth. However, the more things change, the more they remain the same. Arrowhead recently shared some stats for the game's second year, and one of them looks very familiar.
The Helldivers 2 community is pretty united on most aspects of the game. However, the one thing that players tend to argue about is losing ground on other fronts because most players prefer to fight against the Terminids. These year two stats reveal that despite a new faction and several other additions, that hasn't changed.
The stats revealed that we've eliminated 279,991,000,000 threats to democracy this year. But when you divide that based on the three factions, the stats become a bit skewed. 121 billion of these were Terminids, while the number of Automatons killed were only 99 billion. Illuminate kills are even lower, at 60 billion.
It's not surprising that most players prefer fighting against the bugs. While they're not easy in any sense, it is a bit easier to fight against them...
