Final Fantasy 14's New Variant Dungeon Is Being Lambasted By Fans For Its "Cheap" Rewards

Final Fantasy 14 just got a new Variant Dungeon in Patch 7.45, bringing with it a bunch of rewards to grind for and challenges to overcome. As always, you can expect to grab a couple of mounts and some minions for your troubles, as well as some pretty fetching glam and other bits and pieces you come to expect from a big content drop like this.

Unfortunately, though, it seems as though the rewards on offer for the new variant dungeon aren't to the liking of a lot of players, specifically the players out there that enjoy taking on tougher challenges.

For starters, it appears as though one of the biggest problems is the removal of the mount reward for completing all 12 routes. In previous Variant Dungeons, players would receive a mount as a reward for completing all 12 routes of the base version of the dungeon, as a form of incentive to keep exploring and give people a reason to grind out routes.

Sadly, the mount appears to have been removed from the base version of the newest Variant Dungeon, and is instead a reward for the new Advanced version of the dungeon. Instead of the Advanced version...
