Marvel Rivals has had a bit of a problem with throwers lately, which is saying something considering people throwing matches has been a problem ever since the game launched. While a lot of it is just players getting slaty for a variety of reasons, the problem hasn't been helped by the creation of a website called Intlist that lets players put bounties on griefers.
It was set up at the end of February, and basically allowed people to put the names of certain players up and attach a bounty to them, which is real cash money. Other players would then note their names down, and if they join a game with them in the future, they can deliberately throw their game and post proof to Intlist to collect the bounty.
It's obviously completely against the game's terms of service, but Intlist has claimed that it will happily shut down if NetEase "removes EOMM and actually bans throwers." For the founders of the website, it's an attempt to get NetEase to address a problem, and while it's worth noting that Intlist appears to have been taken down, it looks to have done its job.
