Capcom Has Canceled Pragmata Pre-Orders On Switch 2 After Moving Its Release Date

Good news, everyone, Pragmata's release date has been brought forward, and Capcom's next big game will now be here a week earlier than planned. The bad news is that the release date change has resulted in the studio having to cancel all digital pre-orders for the game across Europe and North America on Nintendo Switch 2.

Capcom used the handwritten note - presumably created by Pragmata's Diana - to reveal the good news. It's a running joke that has featured at the end of multiple Pragmata trailers, as the game was revealed a long time ago and then repeatedly delayed. A cute way to share welcome news this time, with confirmation that Capcom is "undelaying" the game a little bit.

The bad news is that, for some reason, Pragmata's release date change means Capcom has been forced to cancel digital pre-orders on Switch 2. The studio has informed those with pre-orders that they will have been automatically canceled, and presumably refunded, and that it hopes those who planned on playing Pragmata on Switch 2 will simply place a new pre-order and join people playing on other platforms on April 17.
