While Requiem is just a week old, fans are already wondering what Capcom is cooking up next.
Fans have been hoping for a Code Veronica remake for a while, and popular leakers like Dusk Golem have suggested that it's next in the lineup. While Capcom has in no way confirmed or denied these rumours, it seems there might be a hint about the remake hidden in Resident Evil Requiem.
As spotted by Suzi Hunter on X, a bottle of alcohol found in the bar lounge of Rhodes Hill Care Center has the name Avernico on the label. While it sounds like a generic almond liqueur, it's actually an anagram for Veronica. While that's not exactly a confirmation, Dusk Golem noted that "Capcom actually usually hides away small hints of what's coming next in their RE Engine era Resident Evil games."
