If you were still on the fence about what to start playing this weekend, your lucky moment has arrived thanks to a little help from Steam!
That’s because the platform is currently offering free trials for three different PC games over the coming days, providing plenty of gameplay hours for free until March 9.
Build, Manage, and Survive for Free
The first standout among the freebies is Cities: Skylines, the classic city simulation from developer Colossal Order.
It delivers an incredibly addictive and satisfying experience of planning and building metropolises from the ground up, so it is a nice pick for fans of the genre.
However, be warned that the learning curve is somewhat steep. Since this is a limited-time free trial, I recommend looking up a few guides (especially regarding road layouts and traffic management, as they can become a problem pretty quickly) to get your city running as fast as possible before your time runs out.
The second game on the list is Parkitect, which shares some DNA with Cities: Skylines as a business simulation game, but trades city blocks for rollercoasters.
