Star Wars Leaker Is "Extremely Impressed" With KOTOR Remake, Expects It To Be Re-Revealed Later This Year

The KOTOR remake was announced five years ago, and all we've heard since (aside from it changing developers) are vague platitudes that it still exists. Just yesterday, Saber Interactive chief creative officer, Tim Willits, once again assured that "it is still in development," but no, he can't tell us anything. Thankfully, leakers can.

YouTuber and reputable KOTOR remake leaker 100% Star Wars responded to Willits' comment and the doubts surrounding it, claiming to have seen footage and assuring that things are going smoothly — in fact, they alleged that the remake could be re-revealed later this year if all goes well.

Can't say other than I think they're getting things right holistically.

"I've seen Saber's KOTOR remake... and I'm extremely impressed with most of what they're building," they posted on X. "Having seen both, I think the canceling of Aspyr's remake with Saber starting from scratch was the right choice. If things continue smoothly, possible reveal this year..."
