Resident Evil Requiem is the fastest-selling chapter in Capcom's decade-running series, with a reported five million copies sold in just the first few days on the market. Scalpers are already trying to make a quick buck "thanks" to sold-out retailers. Most people are playing the game as intended and having a blast.
And then there are the folks who are already figuring out how to morph Requiem into something stranger and stranger. Take "Shrek Chunk," for example. Modder SoulReaperRyu has replaced the terrifying ambush-savvy Chunk creature with everybody's favorite green ogre. The results are, somehow, even more frightening.
"This is why PC gaming never gets boring," observes TheGameVerse on Twitter, and while I'm more of a console player at heart, I'm inclined to agree.
