Baldur's Gate 3 Console Players Just Got New Sorcubus And Elder Classes, Alongside An Automatic Rifle, For Some Reason

Larian has yet to find its flow with bringing content to Baldur's Gate 3's console version in 2026. While weekly drops were common in 2025, 2026 has been far more sporadic.

January started strong with three drops and 65 pieces of new content, but things slowed, with only two additional drops in the middle of February. They were fun drops, adding a new race, a way to cheat honor mode, and some enhancements to your Tav's junk, but the cadence was slowed.

Hopefully, the ball is rolling once again, as Larian has just carefully vetted and added 16 new pieces of content for Baldur's Gate 3 console players, including two classes, changes to Shadowheart's parents, and, for some reason, an assault rifle.

Baldur's Gate 3 is well on its way to becoming one of the most modded games ever. While it's unlikely to beat the 200,000 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has across its various editions, over 17,000 in under three years is good going for Larian's instant classic.

Unfortunately, console players aren't blessed with everything PC players are, and Larian is required to choose, test, and port this content to the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game....
