Earlier today, Pickmon was revealed to the world, a game that looks specifically designed to ragebait Nintendo into filing a lawsuit. Not only does it look like a Pokemon clone (or Palworld if we're being generous), but it also has gliders, the main character looks like Link from Breath of the Wild, and the game's small yellow rodent creature looks like a Temu Pikachu.
While nothing has been officially stolen from Nintendo, it's pretty obvious what Pickmon developer PocketGame is trying to do, and has even implemented a rather weird method of capturing creatures — by throwing playing cards at them — to seemingly get around the whole capture patent thing that Nintendo went after Palworld for.
However, that doesn't mean that Pickmon isn't guilty of stealing from another publisher, as some keen-eyed Final Fantasy 14 fans noticed a very familiar blue crystal in one brief moment in the game's reveal trailer.
