Stop Watering Every Square Inch Of Your Pokopia Island, It Will Eventually Rain

Pokemon fans have been tackling Pokopia in a variety of ways in the first few days since it was released. Water is at the heart of the game, which is why you learn how to use it right away. It's the key ingredient you need to bring life, and Pokemon, back to your island. The thing is, not all of it needs to come out of your Ditto's mouth.

Instead of progressing through Pokopia's story, some of you have been laser-focused on making your islands look good first. That typically involves walking around as much of it as you can and spraying water on all the dry patches since, at the start of the game, the island is pretty much just one big dry patch.

I can see why you might want to do that, but there's an easier way. Have you noticed that, while you're slowly making your island green again, the weather doesn't change? That's because you need to progress Pokopia's story to make that happen. There's a specific habitat you need to unlock, and once you do, it will rain, and the weather will moisten up those dry patches for you.
