Resident Evil Requiem Story DLC In the Works Alongside New "Minigame" | TechRaptor

Resident Evil Requiem is getting itself a story expansion in the future, director Koshi Nakanishi has confirmed, and there's more on the way for the horror game as well.

In a new message on social media, Nakanishi first thanks fans for Resident Evil Requiem's recent five million sales milestone, which the game managed to achieve less than a week after its release. Considering it took the Resident Evil 4 remake three weeks to get to four million, that's impressive.

After thanking fans for Requiem's sales, Nakanishi then pledges to continue supporting the game in terms of bug fixes and performance improvements, and he also says that the game's "much-awaited" photo mode is on the way, although he doesn't say exactly when it's coming.

Nakanishi goes on to say that there's "another surprise" coming around May in the form of a "minigame", as well as announcing the aforementioned Resident Evil Requiem story DLC. Again, no further information was provided for either.

We might be able to get a couple of clues about the minigame from the pieces of paper Nakanishi holds up during the DLC's announcement, however. Briefly, we see a shot depicting something with the title "Forbidden Requiem", showing...
