Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Release Date Revealed for May | TechRaptor

Nintendo has revealed the Yoshi and the Mysterious Book release date, so get ready to embark on yet another irresistibly adorable adventure alongside everyone's favorite green dinosaur pal.

As revealed in a new trailer, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will be launching exclusively on Switch 2 on May 21st (sorry, original Switch owners). As a reminder, the game was originally announced and shown off as part of Nintendo's September Direct presentation.

The new trailer also gives us some more information about exactly what kind of game Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will be, and while it certainly looks like other Yoshi platformers, this one has a more discovery-focused bent to it.

As you make your way through Yoshi and the Mysterious Book's levels, you'll encounter all manner of creatures and other phenomena, and when you make a discovery about what those things do, these discoveries will be added to encyclopedic character Mr. E's database.

One creature, for instance, spits bubbles from its mouth, and consuming the creature will allow Yoshi to do so himself. Don't think too hard about the mechanics (or, indeed, the ethics) of that statement.

If that creature happens to consume nearby apples, its bubbles...
