Pearl Abyss has held RPG fans hostage for long enough, as the hype for Crimson Desert reaches the boiling point. As we creep towards the March 19th release, like any modern beautiful game, one of the main concerns with Crimson Desert is 'can my rig run this without exploding'.

Today, the developers have taken a small mercy and dropped a comprehensive hardware and performance breakdown for PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Given the scope and depth of Crimson Desert, there was some apprehension over whether the game would run well on the working man's gaming PC, or if it would require auctioning off a kidney to upgrade in this economy.

Fortunately, it seems Pearl Abyss has risen to the occasion, with market-appropriate specs that your average Steam hardware survey rig can happily run.

Crimson Desert PC Hardware Requirements

Looking at the PC system specs sheet, it's refreshing to see that you can play a modern, beautiful game with legacy cards like the GTX 1660 while still hitting 30 FPS at 1080p, albeit in low settings.
