Astrometica developer BeryMery has released a new devlog in which it details the struggle of its Iran-based art team to continue operating amidst the war currently raging in the country, through which the team has continued working on a huge new update.
In the devlog, BeryMery says that despite internet access being sporadic in Iran owing to, well, several events in the region of late, the art team has "continued working remotely" and has "pushed progress forward".
At present, it's been more than ten days since BeryMery has been able to get ahold of its art team, and the disruptions have caused the game to fall behind by about three months. BeryMery is very clear that's not the team's fault, though; the studio calls the art team's dedication "incredible", and it's hard to argue with that.
As well as the communication difficulties with Astrometica's art team, the game's main developer says they also lost someone "very important" to them during this period, and so sharing info on updates has been tough.
