18 Years After Launch, Uncharted Fans Have Found A Strange Out-Of-Bounds Easter Egg

The first Uncharted game is filled with references to Naughty Dog and its rich history, from Sully's plane being named after a Crash Bandicoot level to the Precursor Orb relic and "Ottsel" wetsuits paying homage to Jak and Daxter.

Since the game came out in 2007, these easter eggs are widely known already, but after 18 years, a brand-new discovery has been made by speedrunner Panzerdeer.

After playing with the debug menu to fly out of bounds, they stumbled on a never before seen 2D image of 16 individual mugshots floating in the air, hidden in Chapter 19.

"My initial thought was, 'Oh my god, I can't believe I found this,' but I also assumed that these were mugshots of game devs," Panzerdeer said in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel. "After all, it's not uncommon for easter eggs in games to be pictures of the developers, and who else was it gonna be? I wanted to make sure I was right in saying that though, so with some very light research, I managed to find one of the developers in this video. At least, I think it's the same person."
