BAFTA Games Awards 2026 Nominees Revealed with Clair Obscur Leading the Pack | TechRaptor

BAFTA has revealed the nominees for this year's BAFTA Games Awards, and if you're a fan of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you're not the only one, judging by the nominations.

Last year saw games like Astro Bot, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Black Myth: Wukong vying for the Best Game award, but since this year is the year of Our Lord and Savior Clair Obscur, the French RPG has picked up an absolute ton of nominations this time around.

It's up for pretty much every prize in which it can be nominated, including Artistic Achievement, Debut Game, and, of course, Best Game, and multiple performances by its actors can be found in the Leading and Supporting Role awards lists as well. Blimey Charlie (Cox).

And there you have it! In fairness, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn't the only recurring name on that list; there's a lot of repeat offenders across the categories. We'll get to find out who's won on April 17th!
